Lake Garda is one of the major tourist attractions in Northern Italy.

We start from the western shore of the lake and then approach the eastern shore, that of Veneto.
On the western shore, which is part of the province of Brescia, there is the historic and very famous city of Salò. This witnessed the Second World War in the foreground when General Mussolini took refuge there, establishing the so-called Republic of Salò.
But nearby is the immense Vittoriale degli Italiani, a monument adorned with large gardens overlooking the lake, designed and inhabited by Gabriele d’Annunzio, a great poet between the two wars.It can now be visited, we recommend going in the morning so you can make the most of the day and above all remember to buy a ticket! PESCHIERA DEL GARDA
Here in Peschiera del Garda, the closest point from our Residence, you can have a real Italian experience by renting a Vespa you can do a panoramic tour of the lake independently!
Peschiera has a very nice center but it is not very big, we recommend you spend a day at Gardaland and in the evening stop to visit this small medieval village … it will be worth it!
LAZISE
Finally we suggest another medieval village: Lazise.
>Here you can admire the fascinating Scaligero castle and enter through the walls, like in a movie you will see the drawbridge and the river below. It will be a magical experience, also all surrounded by the wonderful lake.
>Of course you can swim in the lake but we recommend you find suitable spots, there are beaches for this, do not put yourself in danger!
